My name is Rachel and this is my first year growing roses…actually anything successfully. After hours spent reading books, blogs, rose websites and listening to hours and hours of podcasts I decided to start my own blog as a way to document our journey.
The meaning of Benedetto Roses- Benedetto means Blessed in Italian. Blessed Roses which is exactly how I feel every time I see a bud starting to form. Any time my kids stop playing to see how one of the roses smell. Any time we see a hummingbird or butterfly land on one of the Holly bushes or Roses. “Beauty attracts Beauty” and that’s exactly how I want my kids to grow up, where nature and inspiration is all around them. Where they can create and daydream. Where every time they smell a rose when they are grown they will think of home. ❤️
